A lovingly and well-reseached book that covers the complex historical moment that began the LGBTQ+ movement. Readers will be able to piece together the narrative story of the Stonewall Riots through this book's organization in three parts (before, the riots, and the aftermath) and in 50 objects (photos and other cultural mementos). The writing is engaging and accessible to audiences young and old, making this book a perfect beginner history of the LGBTQ+ movement. -Bookseller Gabi

Richard and Sasha, not acquainted at all, cross paths only 8 minutes per day on bus 57. One fateful day, Richard acts impulsively and dangerously, and Sasha, whom fellow riders see as a young man in a skirt, is seriously injured. From this crucial point on, this true story explores gender, juvenile incarceration, and punishment vs rehabilitation through the consequences of one very impacting error in judgment. -Bookseller Jane

This was an astounding coming-of-age memoir about a teenager and his struggles with coming out and depression. Shaun Hutchinson tells readers about his teenage and college years with both a humorous and breathtaking writing style that made me feel for him on a spiritual level. Even though the author and I grew up in very different situations, I found the book very relatable, and I think that literally anyone could read this book. I’m definitely going to give it to someone as a gift. -Young Reviewer Frannie
